YMU Student Interviews Annie's Broadway Associate Music Director, Jennifer Christina

Kylee Otto, age 16, interviewed Jennifer Christina, the Associate Music Director and pianist for Broadway's Annie, the Tony-award-winning production.

Kylee is a student at The Young Musician's University (YMU), an online music school for kids ages 4-18, where she takes piano and music journalism classes. In her excitement for the interview, Kylee stated, "I can't believe I get to do something so amazing. I love Annie!" Otto learned how to research her subject, prepare questions, conduct an interview, and write an article in her classes at YMU.

Displaying the power of technology, the virtual interview took place with Christina in Texas, taking a break from the Annie tour, and Otto in South Carolina. The two connected over their mutual love of music and playing the piano. Kylee will meet Jennifer in person and cover the show when Annie comes to Columbia, SC at the Koger Center for the Arts on April 14-15th.
